Breaking Barriers: ESPN Reporter Patti Cesarini on Being a Woman in Sports

ESPN sideline reporter and Oakland University alumni Patti Cesarini shares about her experience as a woman working in sports.

From her early days playing sports to her collegiate volleyball career on the OU Blacktop, Patti has always been involved in sports. Upon graduating, she knew she was not ready to give it all up.

Sideline reporting gives Patti the opportunity to remain in the industry that she loves. Patti discusses what it is like to be a woman working in this male-dominated field. She says that despite a history of controversy with women working in sports, there is so much reward to working in this industry. '

She gives encouragement and hope to future female leaders in the sports industry.
